Yoga is not only a philosophy, but also the science of how to embody it. In this class we get a chance to look at some of the deeper and poignantly relevant teachings of Hatha or classical yoga, and their application in our lives. There will be a physical practice structured by the particular philosophical highlight of the session. The asana (posture) practice will include mild to moderate weight bearing on the arms, with modifications provided as needed. Through this class you will gain a view into the brilliance and timelessness of the traditional teachings, learn how to apply the theory and knowledge into daily life, and enjoy a good weekend practice!
A minimum of three participants required for class to occur.
